Renewal of Grace Hopper Scholarship for STEM Students

2021-2022 Award Year

Houston Baptist University is pleased to announce the renewal of the Grace Hopper Scholarship for students, recognizing a pioneer of computer science and military service, Rear Admiral Grace M. Hopper, PhD.  The third year of the scholarship is funded through a generous gift from Mr. Holly Frost and Ms. Kathaleen Wall.  The renewal gift of $1 million will enable HBU to support students in high demand STEM-related academic programs during the 2021-2022 school year.

In this application cycle, there is a new opportunity that eligible students may apply for.  The Hopper Fellows Award is designed for students who meet higher merit criteria and are willing to participate in leadership development and service activities for the College.  Hopper Fellows must be highly prepared for success in designated COSE disciplines.
