MFA Class Schedule Survey (May 2020)

  • We are sorry not to be able to gather together in person this May, as we had all hoped and planned. We continue to plan for the new August retreat (8/2–8/8/2020) in hopes that we will be able to meet on-campus at that time.

In place of our focused residential experience this May, we plan to meet via video conference each day during the two-week Fastterm (Mon-Fri, May 11–22, 2020). We're aiming for about three hours per day, split across the two classes (1.5 hours for each class, with a short break in-between). We know that this is less class discussion than we would have had in-person, but also recognize that extended video chats are not ideal. We're trying to find a reasonable balance that will work.

We also know that everyone's schedules and availability have shifted considerably, so we wanted to get your feedback on scheduling before we finalize this. We're considering a morning, afternoon, or evening option. Please complete this survey to share with us your availability and preferences so that we can settle on the option that will work best for everyone. Thank you!

  • I can be available for a video conferencing discussion during the following class times (please check ALL that could work—we will use this information to find a workable time for everyone):
  • My top preference for our video conferencing class discussion is (please select the ONE option that works best for you):
  • If you have questions, concerns, or other considerations we should take into account in our planning, please share them here and we will contact you directly. Thank you!
  • Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey. We'll be in touch with final details soon!
