HBU Executes Agreement with Alvin Community College
Houston Baptist University continues to demonstrate its commitment to ensuring A Higher Education is accessible to all students, executing an agreement with Alvin Community College (ACC) to grant guaranteed transfer admission to HBU for ACC’s graduates. Students who earn their associates’ degrees from ACC can apply to HBU with a waived application fee and automatic consideration for a transfer merit award, receiving guaranteed admission to the university.
HBU has also reached agreements with Lone Star College and Wharton County Junior College and continues to seek guaranteed admissions partners in the Houston area. Additional agreements are expected to be executed in the near future, with momentum building as HBU continues to welcome its growing transfer student population.
