Dr. Eric L. Johnson, director of the Gideon Institute of Christian Psychology and Counseling at HBU, and Dr. M. Todd Bates, dean of the HBU School of Christian Thought, collaborated with coauthors, Dr. Joshua Knabb, director of the Doctor of Psychology program at California Baptist University, and Dr. Timothy A. Sisemore, president of the Society for Psychology of Religion and Spirituality. 
The Christian-based mental health thought leaders coauthored the book, “Christian Psychotherapy in Context: Theoretical and Empirical Explorations in Faith-Based Mental Health.”
