Dr. Dawn Wilson, professor of Education, and Dr. Katie Alaniz, assistant professor of Education, each presented on two panels at the TECCSES Technology Consortium at the Pearland ISD district headquarters on May 9, 2019. Dr. Wilson’s sessions were entitled “L-ISTE-n Up: We’ve Got High Standards” and “The TEKS-Files (The TEKS Are Out There).” Dr. Alaniz’s sessions were entitled “Branding: Your Lasting Impression” and “Driving Innovation.” 
These panels focused upon ensuring that schools, faculty and students are prepared for teaching and learning in the 21st century and beyond! These presentations incorporated concepts from their books entitled “Naturalizing Digital Immigrants: The Power of Collegial Coaching for Technology Integration” and “Digital Media in Today’s Classrooms: The Potential for Meaningful Teaching, Learning, and Assessment” (co-authored with Joshua Sikora), which were both published by Rowman & Littlefield.
