Culture Influencers: Scott Robinson

Dr. Michael “Scott” Robinson, assistant professor of Government and assistant director for the Morris Family Center for Law and Liberty, is the lead editor and author of three chapters in the forthcoming book, “The Practical Politics of Eric Voegelin,” edited by Robinson, Lee Trepanier, and David Whitney (Lexington Books). In this volume, the ideas of the influential 20th-century conservative political philosopher, Eric Voegelin, are reviewed and applied to the 21st-century political environment. The authors make the provocative case that the ideological problems associated with race and identity politics which afflicted the 20th century continue to plague the 21st century, but in new and particularly challenging ways.
