Dr. Saul Trevino, associate professor of Chemistry, presented a paper he co-authored with Dr. Mary Osterloh, assistant professor of chemistry, and Dr. Polly Trevino, assistant professor of education, entitled “Improving College Chemistry Student Success Through Retrieval Practice,” at a Symposium called “Enhancing Student Learning & Retention in Introductory ‘Gatekeeping’ Courses: Best Teaching Practices & Alternative Assessment Methods” at the Biennial Conference on Chemical Education at the University of Notre Dame on July 31.
