Dr. Vickey M. Giles, assistant professor of Education, presented the session, “Apps + Books + Creativity = Engaged Learners!” at the Texas Association of Literacy Educators (TALE) conference on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas. The session included information about quick-to-learn and practical technology tools from both iOS and internet-based applications that can be used to enhance reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Co-presenter was Dr. Joan Bowman of Schreiner University.
