Dr. Julianna Leachman, assistant professor of literature, presented a paper entitled “Hunchbacks and Idiots: Looking Toward Home in McCullers’ Ballad of the Sad Cafe and Dostoevsky’s The Idiot” at the Society for the Study of Southern Literature conference in Austin, Texas in February.
