HBU Faculty to Participate in ‘Prepared to Answer’ Simulcast

Faculty members of the Houston Baptist University School of Christian Thought will participate in the equipping “Prepared to Answer” Simulcast, held from 8 a.m. to noon Central & Pacific Time, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Eastern & Mountain Time, Saturday, Feb. 17. (Cost starts at $39.)

The Simulcast is led by Mark Mittelberg, executive director of the HBU Center for Strategic Evangelism and HBU assistant professor of Christian Thought, and Lee Strobel, the HBU Elizabeth and John Gibson Chair in Apologetics. Other best-selling authors and apologists who will teach in the simulcast are Dr. Craig Evans, the HBU John Bisagno Distinguished Professor of Christian Origins, and HBU Assistant Professor of Apologetics Melissa Travis. Additionally, the presentation will feature an exclusive video by the late Dr. Nabeel Qureshi. The event is meant to explore modern culture and biblical faith in the context of Christian apologetics.

For those who are able to attend the live event in-person, they are invited at 8 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 17, at Woodridge Baptist Church (with Pastor Jeremy Evans), 5707 Kingwood Drive in Kingwood, Texas. Admittance is free, but tickets are needed; they are available via the Woodridge Church website.
