Culture Influencers: Joshua R. Farris

Joshua R. FarrisDr. Joshua R. Farris, assistant professor of Theology, with his co-author S. Mark Hamilton, has recently published an article, which is an attempt to motivate a version of an Anselmian satisfaction theory of atonement by responding to a common objection often posed to it called the ‘Efficacy Objection.’ The article, “Reparative Substitution and the ‘Efficacy Objection’: Toward a Modified Satisfaction Theory of Atonement,” is open access, and, as such, is available to the public.
