Courses Taught

Ms. Martin brings her experience as a digital artist for the Secret Service to bear in the field of games development and has a passion for tying faith and design into storytelling using tools such as creature, character, and environment designs. She has a passion for concept art as well as 3D modeling and tying those into the realms of film and games development. She seeks to help students find their storytelling voice, and translate that into different mediums and opportunities.

Teaching Focus

Ms. Martin previously worked as a Visual Information Specialist for the United States Secret Service in Washington, DC where she created digital environments for use in training, security planning, and informational purposes.
Prior to her time in DC, Ms. Martin took part in a variety of student projects working alongside industry professionals from games studios such as Rebellion and working with VR technologies for education-based projects.

Committee Service/Offices Held

Ms. Martin continues to explore storytelling, character design, and environmental design through a variety of media and focal points for the world of games development – both digital and analog. She can often be found at the table crafting stories through TTRPGs such as D&D, both as a player and a DM.

Additional Information

Ms. Martin is also often tinkering with new technologies and workflows, including 3D Printing, resin casting, and virtual environments.
