Philip has written and edited numerous books and articles. He is the author of Habits for Our Holiness: How the Spiritual Disciplines Grow Us Up, Draw Us Together, and Send Us Out. He is also the coauthor of Compelled: Living the Mission of God and Transformational Discipleship: How People Really Grow. Philip has written several small group studies including Storm Shelter: Encountering God in the Psalms (2014), Compelled by Love: The Journey to Missional Living (2008), and Live in the Word (2009). He was a contributing author to The Great Commission Resurgence: Fulfilling God’s Mandate in Our Lifetime. He was the general editor of The Mission of God Study Bible (2012).

Additional Information

Dr. Philip Nation is the Director of Adult Ministry Publishing with LifeWay Christian Resources. Working in the Church Resources Division, Philip oversees all Bible study materials, magazines, and devotionals produced by LifeWay for adults; serving approximately 3 million people each quarter. Philip is a frequent speaker in churches and conferences. He has trained pastors in place such as Romania, Greece, Spain, and the Ukraine. He is the Teaching Pastor for The Fellowship, a multisite church in Nashville, Tennessee. He has served as a pastor, minister of education, and church planter.
