Hello Husky!
My name is Christian (Alex) Cruz, and it is a blessing to be a part of the Advancement & University Relations team here at Houston Christian University. Prior to joining the HCU team, I worked in the healthcare field for 7 years working in the Emergency Centers, Primary Care, and Specialty Care clinics.
As the Assistant Director, I have the blessing of working with our donors with their generous gifts to the university, and gift processing. With the Advancement and University Relations team, I oversee the Gift Posting Process and Acknowledgement Letters.
During my undergraduate time here at HCU, I served in various organizations, and was part of Student Foundation, the only student organization associated with the Office of the President.
Outside of HCU, I serve as the Director of Events and Report Analyst for the Men’s Ministry at my local church.
