HBU Alumni Association’s Tailgate Competition

Do you have what it takes to compete and win the title of Best Tailgate at Houston Baptist University?

Tailgates will be assessed based on their creativity, pride, food, atmosphere, and quality by multiple judges. Before fans start entering Husky Stadium winners will be announced and presented their prizes.

This season we will have three tailgate competitions which will start two hours before the beginning of the game and end an hour before kickoff. The competitions will take place in association with the following home games:

Saturday, September 
HBU vs TBD

5 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Saturday, October 
HBU vs TBD

5 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Saturday, November 
HBU vs TBD

12 p.m. – 1 p.m.

2018.10_HBU Alumni Association's Tailgate Competition

Leading up to kick-off time for the football game, students and alumni have the opportunity to compete in a tailgate competition like no other.
  • Let us know if you will be representing an organization that is on campus. For example, a Greek Life organization or an athletic group. This is not a requirement to compete.
  • Please provide the number of a person who will be present and available on competition day.
