Position Summary

The School of Education seeks candidates who have credentials and experience in the area of executive leadership for the doctoral program.

Job Responsibilities

Teaching and supporting doctoral students in the Ed.D programs both residentially and online. Other responsibilities include supporting student research methodology, supervision of student interns, serving on dissertation committees and teaching online. Faculty members also have professional responsibilities which may include advising students, orientation and registration of students, participation in University committees, keeping regular posted office hours (which are scheduled at times convenient for students), and participation in traditional functions which have academic significance.


Ph.D./Ed.D in Education or closely related field. Must have academic preparation, at least 18 credit hours, in research methodology. Minimum 5 years of public or private school teaching experience in the U.S. in K-12. Doctoral dissertation chair or committee experience preferred.
