Houston Baptist University seeks an Adjunct Professor to join the Department of Music with expertise in teaching woodwind instruments.
Primary responsibilities will be teaching Woodwind Techniques to music education majors and applied lessons to woodwind majors. Other duties may include teaching additional classes as needed.
Applicants should have a MM, DMA, or PhD in Music. Successful candidates will possess the ability to teach courses in music from a Christian worldview and will demonstrate enthusiasm for our classical liberal arts core curriculum which includes embracing the need for these courses to complement each other.
