What is a dormant account?

A dormant account occurs when someone has an outstanding balance with an institution. We may have tried to mail your check to an old address, or the mail may have not been delivered to you. In either case, the payment to you has become dormant and needs to be paid to get it off the books.

Can I call the company and get my money that way?

Yes, of course. Please understand that this will take far more of your time and effort to complete. You can expect payment in 3-4 weeks if you go this route.

You will NOT need to provide your entire SSN, and you will NOT need to provide any financial information (bank accounts, etc.).
