Freshman Council acts as an entry-level organization within the Student Government Assocation.  The purpose of the council is to bring together a diverse group of freshman students who can represent their class by enhancing the freshman year experience that invokes principles of hard work, leadership and service to humanity. 

Throughout the year, the group meets weekly to discuss pressing issues at HBU.  FC gets a chance to work with other organizations and services at HBU. 

The council is made up of several committees that work on various projects throughout the year.  Each committee has a specific roles in contributing to the overall success of the FC.

Freshman Council signature events include: Freshman Town Hall Meetings, Spring Freshman Welcome Back Social, Freshman Wednesdays, and End of the First Year Celebration. 

How do I apply to become a member of the Freshman Council?
