Orientation And Registration

It's our goal to make your transition to HBU as easy as possible.  We are so excited that you've decided to become a Husky!  

Starting as a Freshman in the Fall of 2015?

The overnight Freshman orientation dates are past, but there is one remaining Mini Orientation Session coming up for freshmen!  

Mini Orientation is a one day event where you will meet other new Huskies, talk with faculty in your area of interest, receive your fall class schedule, meet with Financial Aid, get your parking decal, and receive your student ID!  You can check out the Mini Orientation Schedule online.  The date for the final Mini Orientation session is the following:

  1. Mini Orientation III: August 12

If you have been admitted for Fall 2015, you can RSVP for Mini Orientation!  Act now to be sure you get the best class schedule!

Transferring to HBU for Fall 2015?

There is just ONE Mini Orientation date remaining for transfer students starting in the Fall!  The date for the last Mini Orientation is the following:

  • Mini Orientation III: August 12

Once you are admitted, you are eligible to RSVP for Mini Orientation.  Mini Orientation is a one day event built where you will meet with an advisor, register for classes, have lunch with faculty, meet with Financial Aid, get your parking pass, and have your student ID made.

*Please note that if you are under the age of 22, in order to register for classes you must have completed and submitted your meningitis form along with proof of vaccination.

Placement Tests
If you have been notified about taking the Math Placement Exam, please RSVP. The test is free and can help to save you time and money by placing into a higher math course than your SAT or ACT scores permit. If you are unsure about whether or not you need to take an exam please contact us.
