Master of Business Administration

  • Submit Official Transcripts - Official transcripts should be sent directly to The Graduate School from the college or university that awarded your bachelor's degree and any additional coursework taken since that time.
  • Submit Two Recommendation Forms - Download Recommendation Letter. Recommenders should submit the completed forms directly to the Graduate School via email at gradadmissions@hbu.edu. One letter should be submitted from your direct supervisor. Recommendation forms must be sent in from the recommenders directly or they will be considered void.
  • Provide a Current Resume - Email resume to the Graduate School at gradadmissions@hbu.edu.
  • Send Official GMAT or GRE Score Report - Take the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). For information and to register to sit for the exam, visit the GMAT website. You may order additional score reports on line or by calling 609-771-7330. The HBU GMAT code is 9JD-54-68. OR take the Graduate Record Examination test (GRE). Details on the test may be obtained from the Educational Testing Services website. You may order score reports online by calling 1-888-473-7267. The HBU GRE code is 6282. **GMAT waivers may be requested by applicants with an outstanding candidate profile. Your file may be reviewed for a waiver only after all other supplemental items listed have been received. E-mail your request for a waiver to gradadmissions@hbu.edu.

Master of International Business

Master of Science in Human Resources Management

Master of Science in Management

A Master of Business Administration degree from an ACBSP or AACSB accredited university is required to be considered for admission.
  • Submit Official Transcripts - This program requires a Master of Business Administration degree to be held before you can be considered for admission. Official transcripts should be sent directly to The Graduate School from the college or university that awarded your bachelor's degree and your MBA.
  • Submit Two Recommendation Forms -- Download Recommendation Letter. Recommenders should submit the completed forms directly to the Graduate School via email at gradadmissions@hbu.edu.  One letter should be submitted from your direct supervisor. Recommendation forms must be sent in from the recommenders directly or they will be considered void.

  • Additional Official Transcripts - For students applying to be certified in a content area, you are required to submit all of your transcripts to the Graduate School.

Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Certification

  • Submit Two Recommendation Forms - Download Recommendation Letter. Recommenders should submit the completed forms directly to the Graduate School via email at gradadmissions@hbu.edu. If you are currently employed in a school district, it is preferred that you have your principal serve as one of your references. Recommendation forms must be sent in from the recommenders directly or they will be considered void.
  • Provide a Current Resume - Email resume to the Graduate School at gradadmissions@hbu.edu.
  • Additional Official Transcripts - For students applying to be certified in a content area, you are required to submit all of your transcripts to the Graduate School

Recommendation forms must be sent in from the recommenders directly or they will be considered void. 
  • Provide a Current Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV) - Email resume or CV to the Graduate School at gradadmissions@hbu.edu.
  • Send Official GRE Score Report - Take the Graduate Record Examination test (GRE). All portions are considered, including verbal, quantitative and analytical writing. Details on the test may be obtained from the Educational Testing Services website. The HBU GRE code is 6282. GRE waivers may be requested by applicants with an outstanding undergraduate GPA (3.0 or higher).
  • Baccalaureate Degree in Psychology or Equivalent Courses - Candidates must have received a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a major in psychology or the equivalent with the following prerequisites: PSYC 1313 (General Psychology), PSYC 2301 (Introduction to Statistics), and PSYC 2364 (Abnormal Psychology)

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) Certification

Students who've previously earned a master's degree with psychology in the name can return to HBU to take the additional courses need to gain their LPA, LPC or LSSP certifications.
