William J. Jordan, M.D., MajorThe College of Science and Mathematics is hosting a Healing Hands Colloquium featuring HBU alumnus, William J. Jordan, M.D., Major, U.S. Army. Dr. Jordan will share his experiences and those of his medical teams in front line medicine while serving at Jalalabad Air Field, Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

This presentation continues this year's academic theme of "Christianity and the Human Body." Healing was an important part of Jesus' ministry. Provost John Mark Reynolds will offer brief remarks about how students entering the health professions are following in Jesus' footsteps by continuing His ministry of healing the sick. Then Dr. Jordan will discuss how he and his staff work to save the lives of both American soldiers and other combatants on the front lines of war.

Sponsored by the Faculty, Students and Dean's Council for the College of Science and Mathematics and Alpha Epsilon Delta.
