Position Summary:

Houston Baptist University seeks a dynamic individual to serve as Associate Dean for the School of Business. The position requires limited teaching responsibilities and requires extensive contact with current and prospective students, alumni and the business community.  Candidates should be available to begin work in August 2014. Review of applications will begin immediately, and continue until the position is filled.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have a PhD in a business discipline. Professional experience in a related field and a MBA will be an advantage. The candidate will provide documentation of an excellent teaching record and evidence of scholarly interests and achievements. The position involves working with graduate school to market the programs and to recruit qualified students. The Associate Dean would be responsible for curriculum changes, course scheduling, staffing, student advising and accreditation reports related to graduate business programs.
