Preparing to Attend
You’re ACCEPTED! Now What?
Congratulations! You're on your way to officially becoming a Husky! We look forward to welcoming you to the HBU Family and answering any questions you may have about enrolling at HBU.
There are still a few things you need to do before you get to campus:
Secure your spot for Fall 2013 with your enrollment deposit.
It’s an exciting time in the history of HBU and we hope you’ll be a part of it. In order to attend HBU, you must pay your enrollment deposit
prior to registering for classes. By paying your enrollment deposit, you will ensure that you have a spot at HBU. The deposit will go directly toward your first semester's Tuition and Fees, and is refundable up until May 1st, 2013. You'll even receive an official HBU "I'm Part of It" t-shirt so you can start showing your Husky pride. Pay your deposit today!
Visit the Campus.
We'd love to show you around your new home away from home! From the residence halls to the classrooms, visiting campus
is a great way to get an idea of what awaits you at HBU.
Check out our Scholarship Opportunities and Net Price Calculator.
There are several automatic scholarships
for freshmen and transfer students, along with a few scholarships
that require additional documents. You can also use our online net price calculator
to estimate the scholarships and other financial awards you may be eligible for.
Submit your FAFSA.
The priority deadline for submitting the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to be considered for financial awards
is March 1st, 2013. It is highly recommended that you submit the FAFSA
, even if you think your family may not qualify. Students who submit the FAFSA are eligible to receive additional grants, loans, and to qualify for work-study opportunities.
Attend Summer Orientation: SOAR (Student Orientation, And Registration).
is your opportunity to not only secure your class schedule, but also to meet your fellow future Huskies! All incoming students are required to attend a SOAR session before the start of school. Registration for SOAR is now open! RSVP today
