Student Life Overview

Student Life

At HBU, our main goal is to provide students with a holistic education—one that helps them become more successful in every aspect of their lives. But not all of that education is found in the classroom, the chapel or in textbooks. Our tight-knit community is located in America’s fourth largest city, which means there’s always something new and interesting to do, whether on campus or off. And it’s through these new experiences that students often learn the most about who they are and who they’d like to become. As the homepage for all things student, this is where you’ll find the latest campus happenings, opportunities for personal growth, pictures from student events and thoughts from other students. So check back often, and make sure to experience all that HBU has to offer.

College should be fun

As a student, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to get involved and have fun. And we don’t just mean signing up for classes. Start by joining a few student organizations—you’ll find plenty to choose from. Whether you’re into football, soccer or table tennis, there’s bound to be an intramural sport for you. And if you’re not athletically inclined, you can always concentrate on cheering the Huskies on to victory. But that’s not all that HBU has to offer. Just take a walk around campus and chances are you’ll find something fun and spontaneous going on, from tug of war on the quad to no-handed tricycle races. It’s a college experience you’ll always remember.
