Freshmen students are attending HBU directly after high school graduation.

Freshman Admissions Checklist:
Consideration for admission to Houston Baptist University is determined by competitive scores on either the SAT or ACT and by strong high school performance.
If you are applying to HBU as a freshman, you should submit the following to the Office of Admissions:

Official high school transcript or official GED scores.

An official transcript/score must be mailed directly to Houston Baptist University from issuing institution to be considered official.
