Teaching Focus

Dr. Wilson's specialties include American Literature, Twentieth Century Literature, Women's Literature, and writing.

Additional Information

Dr. Wilson recently presented papers on Fitzgerald and Hemingway in New York, Key West, and Vevey, Switzerland. She has presented and published on a variety of topics ranging from early American literature, Transcendentalism, and Modernism to twentieth century British literature and cultural studies.

Dr. Wilson sponsors the HBU Alpha Lambda chapter of Alpha Chi, a national honor society that admits juniors and seniors from all academic disciplines.

Dr. Wilson has also chaired the Search Committee for a professor of 18th Century Literature for the Department of Languages here at Houston Baptist University.

Dr. Wilson has also taught at UNC-Chapel Hill, Elon University, and the University of Houston, Clear Lake.
