Dr. Yan has taught various finance classes at both the undergraduate level and graduate level. His area of specialization is Corporate Finance.

In 2002, Dr. Yan received the HBU MBA Outstanding Faculty Award for his teaching excellence.
Additional Information
Dr. Yan's writing interests include: asset pricing, information asymmetry, and finance teaching. He has published in the Journal of Financial Research.
While at HBU, Dr. Yan has served on the University's Library Committee, and College's Curriculum Committee, among many others.
