Position Summary:

The Intramural Sports Coordinator  is a full-time, twelve month employee of the University reporting to the Director of Campus Recreation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development, planning, implementing and supervising of recreational programs for all students, faculty, staff and alumni.
  • Assists in the Director in the recruiting, training, supervising, and mentoring Campus Recreation student workers.
  • Responsible for handling all appeals and complaints for Intramural Sports and works with the university to handle any disciplinary issues they may arise as a result of an incident occurring during play.
  • Assists the Director with the planning and implementing of fund raising activities to supplement the Campus Recreation budget.
  • Other duties assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • A certain degree of creativity is required.
  • CPR certified
  • Able to effectively and efficiently handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Work to further the university’s vision as stated in the “Ten Pillars”
  • Be available for night and weekend programming.
  • Exhibit an active Christian faith.
